Under Health and Safety legislation employers, as well as the self-employed, are required to conduct Risk Assessments in order to eliminate or control any adverse effects to staff's health, safety or welfare while at their place of work. The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) training course is designed to convey the essential skills and knowledge required surrounding Risk Assessments.

Delegates will carry out an assignment on a workplace and/or activities and produce a report and risk assessment within a four week period of completing the course. Successful candidates will receive the CIEH accredited Principles and Practice of Risk Assessment certificate
The course is delivered over one day at The Source between 09:00 - 16:30 with refreshments, lunch and all course materials provided.
