The Source Skills Academy at Meadowhall staged its success awards to mark the outstanding achievements of 12 of its learners and employers.

The event was hosted by Look North's Harry Gration and recognised individuals from Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Community programmes and those preparing for work. The awards also recognised a number of businesses for their committment to people development.

Tom Bloom is down to the final ten for a national award.

The 23-year-old is hoping he won’t divide the judges in the People 1st Apprentice of the Year category at the Retail Week Rising Stars Awards, one of the most anticipated events on the retail calendar, where bosses gather to celebrate the industry’s future talent.
