The Role
This well known local charity are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to help them market the organisation and help with their extensive fund raising efforts. If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity, where you will work towards a Marketing qualification, then apply now!

Duties Will Include
  • Help the communications officer prepare marketing materials
  • Distribute press releases
  • Regularly stock take marketing materials
  • Update IRIS CRM system, including data cleansing
  • Monitor and update social media channels and website
  • Contribute to the development of new creative ideas
  • Assist with running of photography sessions with families
  • Provide general administrative support for the department
  • Provide basic IT support across the hospice
  • Take minutes in team meetings

    The Person
  • Able to work to deadlines including shifting deadlines and priorities
  • Be organised and able to plan own work whilst ensuring flexibility where required
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident in the use of the internet to carry out research
  • Confident and assertive

    Skills Required
  • Be able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally with staff and external contracts at all levels
  • Confident handling data using a variety of tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, such as Word, Excel and Outlook)

    The successful candidate will study a Level 2 qualification in Marketing. This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work based learning, within the workplace.

    Hours and Wage
    37.5 Hours Per Week. Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend events.
    £131.25 Per Week for 6 months, followed by NMW for age after 6 months.
