The Role

Duties Will Include
This business is looking to recruit an apprentice to work in the practice team providing an efficient reception and business administrative service to the team, as well as patients and visitors to the business.
  • Working with company suppliers, customers and staff to deal with queries
  • Occasional reception duties
  • Working on telephones whilst using the correct telephone manner
  • Some work with credit control purchasing and the stores department
  • Dealing with email correspondence
  • Administration duties including filing, photocopying and scanning
  • Working with various departments in the business to help provide support

    The Person
  • Ability to organise, plan and prioritise on own initiative
  • Ability to work flexibly and enthusiastically
  • Driven attitude and the desire to push yourself
  • Ability to take instruction when needed

    Skills Required
  • Good practical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum GCSE grade C/4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English

    The successful candidate will study a Level 2 qualification in Business Admin. This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work based learning, within the workplace.

    Hours and Wage
    37.5 Hours Per Week. Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
    £168.75 Per Week

    This business is the UK's leading Hydraulic Engineering company which specialises in the repair and replacement of most makes and types of Hydraulic Pumps and motors to all industries. They have been awarded the MOD Contract to supply, repair, reactive engineering support of the steering and stabiliser hydraulic pumps and associated equipment fitted, and motors on HM ships.
